The Opus of Sam

A really nice photoessay of an early morning at the Octagon with our very own Sam Bacal-Graves. Otto was our staff photographer for the last year. A lot of the photo imagery in our product portfolio comes courtesy of Otto. There are no rock stars here, no barista champions. What we do have is a top notch coffee professional - salt of the earth if you ask us - doing the decidedly unglamorous work we do day in and day out to make our cafes the special places they are. This is a scene repeated every day of the year, in all of our stores. It's a beautiful story, and Otto has captured the moment beautifully.

Oh, and Sam's no slouch with a portafilter and a steam wand, either.
